【ストーリー】
筒井康隆の同名小説を、主演のグランパに菅原文太、ヒロイン・珠子にホリプロTSCピュアガール2002グランプリの石原さとみを起用で映画化したハートウォーミングドラマ。中学一年生の珠子の祖父・謙三が刑務所から出所してきた。
それ以来、珠子の生活は充実したものへ変わっていくが、正義感の強い謙三は多くのヤクザたちとの因縁を抱えていた。
